What is the process to complete an NVQ?

The process to complete our NVQs is simple. Once you have enquired and registered onto the qualification, you will be assigned an assessor and inducted onto the course via phone call. The next step is to send over evidence from your job role. This may be induction forms, videos of meetings, health and safety documents, planning sheets, drawings, or other relevant documentation. Once this is completed, you will participate in a recorded phone call where you talk about your job role and industry skills. After that, everything done will be checked by and you'll be signed off and qualified!

Do candidates need to attend a training centre?

No! All of our qualifications are done 100% remotely. Using emails, phone calls and text messaging we manage to communicate and assess qualifications without ever meeting the candidate in person. This means no time out of work, no painstaking site visits and more flexibility for candidates.

How long does it take to complete an NVQ?

Given the candidate has enough time, we can get qualifications done within 2 weeks- on average, they are completed within 4 weeks. The answer to this question completely depends on the amount of time available for the candidate and how quickly they can gather evidence.

Can candidates fail an NVQ?

No, a candidate cannot 'fail' outright. It is possible for a qualification to be returned incomplete after it is signed off by your assessor. This often means something was missing from your evidence or recorded phone call. In this case, your assessor will simply inform you of what is missing and you will work together to get it done. It will then be signed off again, and pass!

Do candidates need to be working in construction?

Yes, in order to complete one of our qualifications you need to be in employment in construction. This is because NVQs assess competence in the field, and require on-site evidence and documentation to be completed. We have many qualifications that suit a number of job roles in construction, as long as you have experience and knowledge of the field.

Are there any formal educational entry requirements?

Generally, no. The primary requirements for our NVQs is to have experience and knowledge of the field, employment in construction and to be operating and the relevant level of NVQ you are completing.

Do construction NVQs expire?

No. Unlike CSCS cards, an NVQ is a lifetime qualification.

What is your payment process?

Once you decided to enrol on one of our qualifications, you will pay 50% of the overall qualification cost. On completion, the other 50% is paid, then the certificate for the qualification is issued.

How do I enrol?

To enrol on one of our qualifications, simply enquire on our site, or via phone, email or social media. We will address any questions you may have, ensure this is the correct qualification for you and get you registered on the course.

Can we get funding for these qualifications?

Yes, as a CITB-Registered Training Provider, our NVQ assessments are eligible for CITB grant funding. If your business is registered with the CITB, you can reclaim a portion of your training costs back through the CITB Levy system.
